I had great ambitions of posting everyday about my ceramic adventures in my dome in the Gladding McBean "shire" but life gets complicated! Heat, health, family, community volunteer issues to say nothing of the diversity of my artistic interests. In addition to the projects at Gladding, I am also making costumes for the community theatre group, garments for the Sun City Fashion Show, entries for the Mask and Costume Exhibit at the Art Center, jewelry for the AC gift shop AND preparing for a driving trip to Ohio with my sis! And home and husband. I would rather burn out than rust out!

I have gotten new pipe to carve! I am going to do one with the footed pot, logo for Feats of Clay for the Art Center.
Several will be for McBean Park home of the Lincoln Potters baseball team. Possibly for trashcans!
There is new group that is working to upgrade the stadium, re establish the team ( there was one from the early 1900s to the 1950s.  They want to use GMcB pipe as theme/logo!

i posted on Facebook that when I got back to work the leaf vase was too dry so when I tried to do more carving it broke.....sigh! Gone to clay heaven.

A friend asked if I would be selling my art and I will but it is a long process! I will let you know.

Going back to my studio tomorrow! 2 ½ weeks of moving and cleaning 12-17 hrs a day took a lot out of me! I also had to finish one of my entries for the Recycle Exhibit - a coat made from old sweatshirts that were dyed with rust from GMcB!
